The Henningsens are enjoying some time on Brad Paisley’s 2013 ‘Beat This Summer’ tour this year.
Lee Brice, Chris Young and all the tour workers have come to enjoy the “fun” after show nights that Brad provides on occasion.
Brad is known to have ‘moral building’ events like renting movie theaters for a showing of a new flick, but the last outing could have been bad for Clara Henningsen and Lee Brice according to the family trio.
“The last thing we did was go Go-Kart racing till three o’clock in the morning,” Brian Henningsen states to Dan Van from Albright & O’Malley & Brenner about the recent outing. “I was sore for three days afterwards, we were going like 40 mph on go-karts,” Clara Henningsen exclaims.
The family trio admits that Paisley and his crew isn’t novice to driving the go-karts and references them as “vicious” and that they take driving go-karts “seriously.”
Aaron Henningsen says that Clara was involved in a small go-kart incident.
“She hit Lee Brice [Clara exclains “I T-Boned Him”] this is like I’m not kidding 40 mph go-karts and that’s a crash,” Aaron exclaims.
All the drivers were wearing helmets but it made no difference.
“She T-Boned [Lee Brice] so hard that his helmet flew off,” Aaron says.
All apparently are ok and did not suffer any injuries. The go-kart crash incident is apparently on video and alluded to maybe being in a future music video.
Go-Kart racing and its potential dangers has been in the news lately after Jake Owen suffered a serious injury to his hand that required surgery. Doctors still don’t know if he will be able to play guitar again due to the accident.
The Henningsens and Lee Brice will be on the Brad Paisley ‘Beat This Summer’ Tour all this summer. The Henningsens next single, ‘I Miss You’ will arrive to radio soon.
