Four decades after releasing his debut album, Where My Heart Is, for Sony Music, Ronnie Milsap returns to the record label with his newest album, Summer Number 17. The six-time Grammy winner has compiled an album of songs that span the past forty years.

Ronnie has put a fresh stamp on classics from other artists that have shaped his career.  You’ll enjoy songs ranging from “It’s All In The Game”, “Mack The Knife”, “Georgia On My Mind”, “I Can’t Help It If I’m Still In Love With You”, and “Mustang Sally“. He has rerecorded his 1985 #1 hit, “Lost In The Fifties Tonight“, and added a new song, the title track, “Summer Number 17″ (a tribute to those coming of age summers we all go through on our journey to becoming adults).

“You never forget the songs that first turn you on. They fire your creativity, they inspire you to make music of your own… and they’re there when you first fall in love.

Those are things that never fade.”

After Ronnie joined him on stage at his Ryman Auditorium debut, Hunter Hayes remarked, “When you hear his music, mine will all of a sudden make sense.”

Ronnie is scheduling The 40/40 Vision Tour to celebrate his 40 # 1”s and 40+ years of his career.

Reminiscing never sounded so good  …
