Cole Swindell Releases Debut Album Artwork On The Heels Of Receiving His First Gold Certification For “Chillin It”

Cole Swindell is set to release his self-titled debut album February 18th on Warner Bros. Records. The album artwork was released to fans Monday in addition the album’s first single, “Chillin’ It,” becoming the first single in all genres to receive Gold certification from the R.I.A.A. in 2014. “Chillin’ It” is currently No. 7 on the Country Airplay chart. The single has sold over 600,000 copies making “Chillin’ It” the highest selling debut single released in 2013 from a solo country male. Swindell is gearing up to head out with Luke Bryan this month, beginning January 16 in Columbus, Ohio for his “That’s My Kind of Night” Tour.

 

Singer-songwriter and Georgia native Cole Swindell has been part of the Nashville music scene since before his current hit, “Chillin’ It,” became an independent radio sensation. While on the road with good friend Luke Bryan, Swindell used the time to master his craft and wrote several songs for Bryan’s Spring Break EPs as well as cuts for Thomas Rhett, Scotty McCreery, Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young and Craig Campbell. Now with Warner Bros. Records, Swindell’s single “Chillin’ It” has proven to connect with fans by rapidly climbing the country charts. Known for his high-energy performances, Swindell has a growing reputation as one of Nashville’s most exciting young performers.
