Concert Review: Dustin Lynch With Special Guest Clark Manson

It’s fair season and you know what that means, country concerts! I recently made the trek to the Elkhart County 4-H Fair to attend a Clark Manson and Dustin Lynch concert put on by Variety Attractions. I had all intentions of showing up to a small fair like the one I’ve grown up going to, but this was the complete opposite. There were so many people in attendance for both the fair and the concert, overall I’d say it was a huge turnout.

Clark Manson opened the show playing some of his latest songs off of the Friday Nighters EP as well as some covers like Tim McGraw’s Something Like That. He was the perfect opener for the show since him and Dustin have similar sounds and audiences. Clark killed it like usual. One thing that makes Clark stand out from other artists is how he takes the time between sets and after the show to hang out at the merch table meeting every single fan, taking pictures, and signing autographs. He really cares about his fans and wants to make sure that they had a good time at the show! If you’ve never heard of Clark go check out his music and download Friday Nighters!

Dustin Lynch put on a great show as well. He has one of those voices that sounds exactly as it does in concert as it does on the radio. He sang songs like Cowboy’s and Angels, Seein’ Red, Mind Reader, Small Town Boy, and even played some new songs! Dustin took the crowd down memory lane sharing stories and songs from his time playing bars on Broadway. Dustin shared during his set that he has finished recording new music, and from the few songs he played you are going to want to watch out for it!
