Dustin Lynch Scores Top 10 Radio Hit With “Where It’s At”

Dustin Lynch scored his second Top 10 radio hit this week when his new single, “Where It’s At,” soared to #10 on both the Billboard Country Airplay Chart and the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart.

With it’s signature “Yep, Yep” hook, the lead single from Lynch’s new album WHERE IT’S AT (in stores September 9th) has quickly become a fan favorite, continuing its ascent toward GOLD sales status.

Last month, the “Cowboys and Angels” singer unveiled details of his upcoming sophomore album to Rolling Stone Country. The highly personal new album – released by Broken Bow Records – chronicles Lynch’s life over the past two years as he rose from an unknown songwriter to the only new male Country artist to earn a #1 debut album in 2012.

“It’s where I am, as a person and an artist,” Lynch told Rolling Stone Country. “All the songs on the record are moments I’ve captured and put down. They were inspired by my excitement for life. So [the album title] Where It’s At sounds pretty perfect.”

The 15-track album – named for Lynch’s current smash single “Where It’s At” — boasts a sonic menagerie ranging from Country guitar licks to Motown guitar lines to Pop-leaning grooves while still paying tribute to Country music’s past.

Lynch worked alongside celebrated producer Mickey Jack Cones (Joe Nichols/ Working Man’s Poet: A Tribute to Merle Haggard) on the sophomore project. Producers Brett Beavers (Dierks Bentley) and Luke Wooten (Brad Paisley) also return for their second album project with the rising star. Lynch co-wrote 5 of the songs appearing on WHERE IT’S AT.

In the meantime, Lynch continues to criss-cross the United States, hailed for his energetic, diverse live shows and stage presence by the likes of the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Chicago Sun Times, Orange County Register, Metro Western New York and more.
