Granger & Amber Smith’s three year old son River passed away 2 weeks ago. Smith announced that their son drowned at their family home. The couple released an inspirational and touching video tonight (6.19.19) where they share how they are doing now, along with a beautiful video that was shared at River’s funeral. It will bring you to tears, and give you some sweet laughs as well. What an incredible life that sweet boy lived in such a short time. Smith said in the video, “We believe, in our belief, that God gave River to us for three years, and that was his mission. I don’t believe that God takes anyone too soon.” Keep the Smith family in your prayers as they continue to navigate a new way of life.
River Smith tribute shirts are still available, with proceeds going to Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Breaks my heart. I’m leaving a comment letting the family know their in my thoughts and prayers. But I’m unable to watch the video because I lost my 4 year old son in 2009 to the exact same tragedy and it’s hard for me to watch. But my deepest sympathy goes out to all of you.

I have been praying for the family since the day I heard. I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost 2 sons that were newborns: 10 days and 8 weeks. I understand the pain of losing a child but not one that I had gotten to know. God bless yall. Y’all are in my heart. River was such a beautiful boy❤
