Katie Armiger has partnered with iHeartRadio’s “Country Artist of the Month” series for January to give fans the exclusive first look at her new music video for “Safe.” This exclusive online world premiere is available for viewing across all Clear Channel country station websites in the U.S. starting on Jan 10.
2013 was a career year for Armiger, but for our nation, 2013 brought about many hard times. From the many natural disasters, to the heart-breaking school shootings, one constant has remained: each city in need was met first by the brave, strong, and comforting hands of our nation’s first responders. Katie decided to make a difference; to encourage all of us to take a moment to give back and say thank you. To accomplish this, Katie has dedicated her single, “Safe,” to those who have bravely sacrificed and has launched an awareness campaign called Project Feel Safe to honor our nation’s first responders.
Armiger partnered with famed viral video director Justin Baldoni (“My Last Days: Meet Zach Sobiech,” over 10 million views and “The Proposal,” over 7 million views) and the Long Beach Fire Department to create a dramatic music video depicting the sacrifices of our first responders and the families who love them. The video will invite viewers to visit the campaign’s website at www.YouMakeMeFeelSafe.com to give thanks and share their support for the brave men and women in their community.
Using #projectfeelsafe, please give thanks for the first responders in your area by sharing your messages of support, personal stories and photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Together we can make sure those that sacrifice so much to keep us safe are not forgotten.
Staring January 15, fans can tune into their local TV affiliates as Armiger is scheduled to interview in over 200+ TV markets to bring awareness to this campaign. Those markets include: nationally syndicated show, “Daytime,” WFLA/Tampa, WZME/New York, KFLA/Los Angeles, WPVN/Chicago, WFMZ/Philadelphia, WMFP/Boston, KIRO/Seattle,WVCY/Milwaukee,
Having already visited the Boston FD, Moore, Oklahoma FD, Lindenhurst, New York FD, and Union Beach, New Jersey FD, throughout 2014 Katie will continue the Project Feel Safe Tour, visiting fire stations across the country and personally thanking first responders and their families. Their heroic personal stories from this tour will be shared on the Project Feel Safe campaign’s website at www.YouMakeMeFeelSafe.com
