Kristian Bush threw the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs vs. Washington Nationals game at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon (6/27). Decked in Cubs gear, Bush also led the crowd in the traditional sing-along favorite “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch. Bush and his 5-piece backing band were in the Windy City for a performance at the Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual summer concert series, “Jammin’ at the Zoo” on Thursday (6/26).

Bush is currently on the summer run of his 2014 PUT YOUR SOUL IN IT Tour. In between shows, Bush is working with longtime producer Byron Gallimore on his forthcoming debut solo album, to be released via Streamsound Records. The lead single, “Trailer Hitch,” from the highly anticipated project is set to hit country radio nationwide and iTunes on July 28.
