Randy Houser Learned Acting Skills From Kix Brooks in ‘Ambush At Dark Canyon’ Releasing January 14th

Randy Houser has caught the acting bug.  He has a small role in the Kix Brooks movie Ambush at Dark Canyon that is releasing next week.

 

The movie is about U.S. Marshall Duke Donovan, played by Kix Brooks, whom is imprisoned and accused of being an accomplice in a bank robbery. After discovering that his partner is planning to kill his wife, he must escape prison in time to save his wife and clear his name.

 

Randy plays a character in the movie named Cad Skinner.

 

“I am actually one of the prisoners along aside him, in the film,” Randy tells Dan Van from Albright & O’Malley & Brenner. “Very briefly, I mean you see me a couple of times and we have a couple of speaking parts and things like that. But it was just my first little toe in to seeing how the movie business works and it was just a lot of fun.”

 

Randy says that Kix is a “fantastic actor” that once you see the movie you will understand why.  Randy also says he learned a lot about movies and acting from Kix.

 

“Ambush at Dark Canyon” will be available on DVD from Walmart on January 14th.  Fans can pre-order the movie now HERE.

 

Walmartwill also release a soundtrack for the movie, which was produced by the Brooks and features a song written by Houser and Brooks.
