Monday morning Scotty McCreery was visiting with a group of friends at an apartment in Raleigh, NC near the campus of North Carolina State University. Law Enforcement said around 2 am three gunmen stormed into the apartment while the Season 10 American Idol Winner and his friends we’re inside. The Gunmen made it off with wallets, cash, and other property including valuable electronics. No one was injured in the incident. Neighbors reported hearing people charging up the stairs, yelling, and then later running back down the stairs. It wasn’t until the cops arrived that neighbors realized it wasn’t just a bunch of college kids fooling around. McCreery is currently enrolled at the North Carolina State University while he juggles time in the music business and on his album “See You Tonight“.
