SINGLE REVIEW: Livewire “Driving You Outta My Mind”

The band Livewire is back at it again with a new single titled “Driving You Outta My Mind.” This is a follow-up to the previously released single “Whiskey Sunday,” which took a wild run on Music Row, Texas Music Chart, and the Texas Regional Radio Report and was also gained them a nomination for “New Duo/Band/Group of the Year” at the 2014 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. It’s extremely important to note the talented writers of this song, the lead singer of Livewire, Andy Eutsler and well-known and super-talented singer/songwriter, and recording artist well-known throughout Nashville and beyond, Johnny Bulford. If you’re not familiar with Johnny you should get familiar with him. Johnny is nothing but an amazing songwriter, he has already penned hits for Lee Brice, Eli Young Band, and Chris Young. This song was also written by former band members, Danny Bell and Landon Rolfe.

This song has absolutely incredible lyrics! One of my favorite lines in the song is, “Your memory’s faster than the lightnin’ striking,’ but I’m still burnin’ down those mile marker signs, drivin’ you outta my mind.” It’s a song that emits the passion of driving fast down the open road in hopes of trying to leave the memories and emotions of losing an old love, demons, and broken heart in the dust trail far behind you. Not only are the lyrics crazy good but the guitar riffs, narrative, and the overall undertone of the song really encompasses the feelings of sadness and memories of the “relationship-gone bad.” I highly recommend checking this one out, I can see this one taking Music Row and the charts by storm.
