SINGLE REVIEW: RaeLynn “God Made Girls”

He needed something soft and loud, and sweet and proud, but tough
enough to break a heart.
Something beautiful, unbreakable that lights up in the dark.
So God made girls, God made girls.
He stood back and told the boys…I’m about to rock your world.
Then God made girls.

RaeLynn. The girl with The Voice from The Voice Season 2 is releasing her first official single with The Valory Music Co. “God Made Girls“, a co-write
with Lori McKenna, Liz Rose and Nicolle Galyon. RaeLynn is only 20 years old, born and raised in Texas, and grew up singing in her church and looking
up to Miranda Lambert.

This sassy young lady has her own unique look to go with a unique voice. Alot of sweetness in her twang. But don’t let that confuse you. Her vocal
sound is quite different from mainstream country female artists. Her appearance reflects what seems to be a strongly independent nature. Spunky, funky, twangy and enough badass for a young lady.

“God Made Girls” is an assertive song that women of all ages can identify with. Both Miranda Lambert and RaeLynn’s Season 2 The Voice coach, Blake
Shelton, have always been confident, strong and badass enough to still not take themselves seriously and alienate country music fans. I think that sense of self has inspired RaeLynn and it is evident in the lyrics of

God Made Girls“, is a cool song, delivered in candy-coated twang but with just enough metal to get its point across. Y’all will enjoy this
sing-along song. The single is scheduled to impact radio on June 30.
