SINGLE REVIEW: Veronica Ballestrini “Cookies and Cream”

Connecticut native Veronica Ballestrini is set to release her sophomore album, Flip Side, on June 17 on Timbob Records LLC. Twenty-three year old Veronica co-wrote her latest single, “Cookies and Cream“, with her younger brother Joseph.

The upbeat tempo blends those carefree moments filled with happiness in the simplest of things as you realize you have found that special someone who is, well, the cream to your cookies.

“Life is full of struggles. We stumble, we fall down, and in those moments we feel we will never get up again. Sometimes all it takes is one person to say or do something to help you to see life in a new perspective and inspire you to get up and make a change. Life will never be pain free, we just have to learn to embrace the pain and find strength.”

Veronica has a large social media fan base – millions have watched her videos on YouTube and hundreds of thousands of fans follow her. The new album, three years in the making, showcases her evolution as a country/pop artist. She has honed her skills since age 12 when she began writing and playing guitar.

“I’ve been hurt, I’ve been broken, I’ve made mistakes, but I’ve also had the best days ever, and I’ve written songs about all these times. I am excited to share what I’ve been up to. I’m writing from my heart about issues and things I’ve experienced, and hopefully people can identify with that.”
