Tickets will be given to the first customers in line on Saturday, March 1. The concert will take place near, but not in, the store on Saturday, March 2, according to a press release from Waggener Edstrom Communications.
The number of tickets being offered and the time of the concert are not yet available.
The grand opening will begin at 10:30 a.m. on March 1. More than $1 million in software will be donated to local organizations during the event, which will be hosted by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the director of programming for Xbox.
The 3,762-square-foot Microsoft store will be located between Ann Taylor and Bath & Body Works on the second floor of the mall.
