Jake Hoot Releases “Best Job I Ever Had” Music Video in Celebration of Father’s Day

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 20, 2020) –  Just in time for Father’s Day, Jake Hoot has released a music video for new track “Best Job I Ever Had”, dedicated to his 5-year-old daughter Macy. Written by Hoot and Connor Rand and produced by Dave Pahanish and Charles Pevahouse Jr., Hoot says, “Without a doubt, being a dad is the greatest accomplishment I’ve ever had, so writing this song was easy because it resonated so close to home.” The music video for “Best Job I Ever Had,” directed by Alejandro Medina of 3rd Lion Productions, features snapshots of Hoot and Macy as well as photos of fans with their fathers. The upbeat, cheerful song is also available to download or stream on your preferred platform HERE

On shooting the video Hoot says, “It was such a special day because my daughter Macy was able to be with me during filming. I was also so thankful because last minute we had 3 families offer for us to use their nurseries which was fun getting to involve other families in this project.” He continues, “I hope people walk away with the message that getting the opportunity to be a dad is one of God’s greatest gifts to us. No matter how hard it may be at times, there really is nothing more special than having the opportunity to raise a child.”
Hoot has not slowed down since being crowned winner of season 17 of NBC’s The Voice. The larger-than-life singer/songwriter made his debut on his dream stage of the Grand Ole Opry in February of this year and shortly afterwards released charitable track “Tennessee Strong” benefitting the Middle Tennessee tornado victims. The uplifting song and music video was premiered by CMT.com, reached Top 10 in the iTunes Country Singles chart and Top 35 on the iTunes All-Genre Chart

Currently amassing more than 2 million Spotify and Apple Music Streams and celebrating the release his debut single “Dangerous Thing,” Hoot is looking forward to hitting the road beginning in July to perform new music for his fans.
