SINGLE REVIEW: Florida Georgia Line “This Is How We Roll” Featuring Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo

Florida Georgia Line has been really rolling out the hits lately. Their fan base has been growing and growing and I do believe it helps to have not only released “Cruise” as your first single, but to have had Nelly in the song for a remix.

They’ve gone and done it again with “This Is How We Roll which originally just featured Luke Bryan and now includes Jason Derulo in on the remix. If you watched the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night,  you may have seen the performance from the boys where Luke Bryan basically pops out of the stage from nowhere, and then you look over and see Jason Derulo singing along with Brian Kelley, Tyler Hubbard, and Luke Bryan. If you’re a fan of traditional country you are probably not going to like this song at all, nor even like any of the remixes of it. If your mind is open to change and the way the country genre is becoming more re-mixed into a new style, for example like this country rap kind of style then you will absolutely love this version as much or maybe even more than the originally released version. One things for sure, Brian and Tyler really know how to give country a taste of something they don’t see much of, remixes.

This is how we roll
We hanging round singing out everything on the radio
We light it up with our hands up
This is how we roll
This is how we do
We’re burning down the night shooting bullets at the moon baby
This is how we roll

[Jason Derulo] My accent’s got a little twine, little fine
Little something, something
Always makes the ladies scream
My name louder, reverse, try girl
Little bump, bump in that trunk
All up in my…
New Maybach
Now that how well my stamp back
You can find us where the party at

Some may say they cross the country line, but I say keep an open mind, take a listen for yourselves, it just may have you jamming along. But,Be sure to send us over a tweet to let us know what you think! If you like it be sure to head on over to HERE and pick up this single, via iTunes or Amazon
