This morning (9.4.17) Lauren Alaina, Dustin Lynch & Brothers Osborne announced the 2017 CMA Awards Nominees. Â Brothers Osborne announced the New Artist category, which included Alaina, and was followed by a “congrats, Lauren! Congrats!” from Lynch. Â Lynch announced the Video of the Year, & Alaina announced Vocal Duo of the Year which both included Brothers Osborne. Â After all nominations were announced Alaina said of her first CMA nomination “I’m really trying not to cry because I feel like I always cry!” Â After winning Vocal Duo last year, TJ Osborne laughingly said “being the reigning duo winner, I was hoping we would be at least nominated this time, or you would have seen a complete melt down.” Â Congratulations to all nominees!
