Exclusive Premiere: CWBY Releases New Single “Insecure” and Captivating Music Video

Using an entrepreneurial approach to his music, CWBY is breaking barriers in the country-pop space, creating a contemporary, all-genre inspired sound that is entirely his own. His brand new track “Insecure” is premiering exclusively with Got Country today ahead of its release tomorrow along with the first look at the music video below! 

The song comes just after a major milestone for CWBY as he signed an exclusive deal with CDX Records last month. Pulling from a wide range of musical influences including artists Bon Jovi, Chris Stapelton, Shania Twain and Tupac, the song has an ear catching and vibrant tone while showcasing his abilities as a writer through his remarkably personal and highly relatable song lyrics. The track will serve as the lead single from his debut EP “Lovin’ Me Ain’t Easy,” expected to drop later this summer. 

“‘Insecure’ is based on a past relationship where regardless of how hard I tried, insecurities surrounding other women were so frequent that we couldn’t move forward,” CWBY shared with us. “At first, because of the world we live in, the industry I’m in and social media I understood it, but after a while it was too much to endure. The song helped me to express my frustration for a situation that I wished she could get over but it ended up being out of my hands.” 

Although he’s just getting started, the Florida turned California native has lived enough lifetimes to have a broad arsenal of stories and life lessons under his belt that he’s excited to share with the world. Beginning his career as a musician just two years ago after discovering songwriting as an outlet of expression, he has already set an impressive foundation for himself as an artist.
