Back in 2011, Glen Campbell opened up to PEOPLE about having Alzheimer’s.
Over three years later, the Magazine has confirmed that the singer has since been moved into a facility last week.
The family is not sure if this will be a permanent placement, they are hoping to know more next week.
Campbell and his wife, Kim Woolen, decided to go public with his condition before embarking on a final farewell tour. Â They wanted his fans to know in case he forgot lyrics to a song or two during the show.
The “Goodbye Tour” was filmed for a documentary called Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, which followed Glen, his wife and three children as they deal with the multiple stages of the disease while performing together on the road. Â The documentary is scheduled to debut at the 2014 Nashville Film Festival.
