While most 16-year-olds have enough on their plates with school, friends and family, country artist Madelyn Rose is juggling everything while also launching a brand new career. The young singer-songwriter highlights her talent in her debut single “Taillights Fade” which released just two weeks ago to rave reviews. Now, she’s providing viewers with the visual component of her brand new song as it premieres exclusively with us today! Drawing from the influences she grew up on, Madelyn creates an idyllic backdrop for the young heartbreak anthem.
“My inspiration for the “Taillights Fade” music video, was Taylor Swift’s video for “Tim McGraw,” out in nature, small town with a girl next door theme,” Madelyn shared with us. “I really wanted to showcase the song itself, keeping the video self-explanatory with a simple teenage story so that the song could shine.”
Shine it does. The crisp visuals which alternate between a performance shot and scenic drives perfectly capture the youthful spirit the song conveys. Check out the brand-new music video below!
About Madelyn: Hailing from a small town in central New York, Madelyn Rose discovered her love of music via a garage sale keyboard at the age of four. Two years later, she began dabbling in karaoke, singing along with a small guitar amp and microphone she received for her birthday, then uploading the videos to YouTube. Now materializing her dreams, the 15-year-old, who signed with Nashville-based Vere Records and Richard Ellis of Gold Mountain Entertainment for management last year, has spent the better part of her year in Nashville writing and recording with some of Music City’s finest. Drawing inspiration from pop and country powerhouses such as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and Christina Aguilera, Madelyn creates original music that her listeners can relate to wholeheartedly, with no sugar coating.
