Luke Bryan’s Kick Up The Dust Tour Hits Tulsa, Oklahoma

Luke Bryan hit the road last month for his third headlining concert tour, “Kick the Dust Up,” and on June 18, the tour will make a stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the BOK Center. The tour’s title shares its name with his latest hit single from the forthcoming release “Kill the Lights,” which fans can expect to see out on August 7. The album will mark Bryan’s fifth studio release, and his first in two years.

Bryan, who began his musical career in the mid-2000s writing songs for Travis Tritt and Billy Currington, fully arrived on the scene in 2007 on his own with his breakout album “I’ll Stay Me.” He is perhaps best known for his smash hits, “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Play it Again,” and “Country Girl (Shake It for Me).” The tour is scheduled to finish up on October 30 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

Bryan is taking along an enticing crew of country acts with him for stadium show support, including Randy Houser, Dustin Lynch, Florida Georgia Line, and Thomas Rhett. Ticket sales are perhaps the best testament to the tour’s popularity, as Bryan has managed to sell out a handful of the stadium dates. As the reigning ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year, Bryan’s popularity only appears to be increasing, and prices remain competitive for the Tulsa portion of his tour. The average ticket price to see Luke Bryan at the BOK Center is $105.71, with a get-in price of $34. Comparatively, in 2013, Bryan’s tour with Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line at the BOK Center listed an average ticket price of $579.94, while the get-in price was $345, according to TotallyTickets.

Luke Bryan’s “Kick the Dust Up” tour has been reviewed as an all-around experience, and an especially exciting warm-up for his upcoming release, “Kill The Lights,” at the end of the summer. Although the album’s first single is already on the radio, Bryan has indicated that multiple surprises are still underway, including new sounds and musical diversity. He has also said that there will be a big collaboration on the new album, proving that his summer tour will be a great chance for fans to prepare for what is looking like an exciting next chapter for the country star.
