California country artist Mitch Bradford is still riding high from the release of his latest album, a venture that marks the first of its kind.  Close, Mitch’s 10-track studio album which features singles like “I Can Fly” and “More Than Life” was created via crypto currency – a move that has positioned Mitch as one of the artists on the forefront of exploring music making in the digital age.  Recorded at the historic Studio D at The Villiage in California famous for being an old stomping ground for Fleetwood Mac, Mitch was able to capture a unique laid-back sound throughout the record that is perhaps best highlighted by the second track, “Slow It Down.”

Today, Mitch shares a brand new visual with us from the tune interspersed with images of Nashville, evolving love and happy endings.  Check out the brand new lyric video below!

“’Slow It Down’ is about how your heart can move faster than your head,” Mitch shared.  When it came time to create a video, the direction couldn’t be clearer.  As Mitch explained, “It’s inspired by when I was back on the dating scene in Los Angeles. I met a girl one night at a bar, and my mind in the first few seconds, came up with all sorts of ideas about what it could mean — I saw us taking vacations together, moving in, and getting married.”

As the video winds to a close, we are transported back to a couple of strangers at a bar and reminded that with all of life’s ups and downs sometimes the best thing to do is take your time.  “This song captures that feeling,” Mitch said, “how our brains explode with visions and stories when we first meet someone. But sometimes the best advice is to ‘Slow It Down’.”
