Glen Campbell Placed Into A Facility For Alzheimer’s

Back in 2011, Glen Campbell opened up to PEOPLE about having Alzheimer’s.

Over three years later, the Magazine has confirmed that the singer has since been moved into a facility last week.

The family is not sure if this will be a permanent placement, they are hoping to know more next week.

Campbell and his wife, Kim Woolen, decided to go public with his condition before embarking on a final farewell tour.  They wanted his fans to know in case he forgot lyrics to a song or two during the show.

The “Goodbye Tour” was filmed for a documentary called Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, which followed Glen, his wife and three children as they deal with the multiple stages of the disease while performing together on the road.  The documentary is scheduled to debut at the 2014 Nashville Film Festival.
