CMA Fest Cancelled for Second Year in a Row

In a not so surprising statement released today, 3.2.21, the Country Music Association announced that its annual CMA Fest is cancelled… again. The annual summer pilgrimage to Music City began in 1972, then known as “Fan Fest.” Nashville comes to life, even more than it already does on a daily basis, as thousands and thousands of fans descend upon downtown for a weekend full of concerts & fun. Our hearts were broken in 2020 as it was cancelled for the first time due to COVID-19. CMA quickly rescheduled dates for 2021, and no one could’ve predicted how this would all turn out. While vaccines are on the rise, CMA announced that they “still face several challenges that prevent us from bringing our fans around the world to the CMA Fest experience they have come to expect.” They go on to say, “But rest assured, we have already started planning what will be the most EPIC celebration of Country Music next summer.” The dates have announced as June 9-12, 2022. Keep your fingers crossed!!
