Unapologetically authentic, the future proves promising for the breakout talent.

As someone who loves sunsets & always points out a beautiful sky to anyone with me, my ears immediately perk up as the track begins. “Staring at a fire in the sky. Reds, and blues, and purples collide. I don’t know how fast you can drive, but you might wanna jump in your car, before that fire turns into stars. There’s a sunset with your name on it, and a boy that’s missing you like crazy…” You’ll just have to listen to see if they reunite or not… I’m not going to just give that kind of information away! Check it out below!

NICKY JAMES BIO

Don’t let his humble roots fool you, Nicky James is ready to take the Country music world by storm with his prolific storytelling and undeniable star potential. Equal parts ear-catching melodies with powerhouse vocals to back it up, James is preparing for the release of his upcoming project. With Grammy-award nominated producer Eric Torres (Jamey Johnson) at the helm, Your Name On It features his signature vocals and is strong enough to seamlessly transition to radio. Unapologetically authentic, his music recalls great memories of good times.

Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska to a musical family, breaking out the guitar was just a normal part of the daily family life. His parents raised him on the American classics, like James Taylor, John Denver, and The Eagles, and those legends have had a major impact on his songwriting style. The passion for Country music was instilled in him at a young age and he made the full-time pursuit while only in his teens. Playing anywhere and everywhere that would allow him, he learned and began crafting his musical identity.

Frequent trips to visit family in Oklahoma led the then rising talent to fall in love with the red dirt scene. James explains: “Oklahoma was this brand-new world and I quickly fell in love with it. It seemed like the place I Imagined watching all the western movies with my dad as a kid.” He spent the next few years traveling back and forth to play the bar scene with his brother. With a strong support system, he threw himself straight into the live performance world and hasn’t looked back.

As if it was inevitable, He eventually made his way to Nashville where the rising talent has big plans. He explains: “My main goal is to continue to put out music that my fans and myself love to listen to, keep learning more about music and bettering myself as a songwriter and performer, and most of all to always feel the lyrics over the melody.”

The future proves promising for the talent as he prepares to release new music with Grammy award-nominated producer Eric Torres. He explains: I was fortunate enough to get connected with Eric Torres through a mutual friend and from day one he could see my vision and understood what kind of sound I was going for. Working with Eric has been a blessing because of his true passion for his craft and his understanding of what each song needs to create the vibe I want people to hear.”

Each day is a new opportunity for Nicky James and he’s ready to face it head on. “Every day is a new day for me, each goal I achieve small to large is replaced with a new one. I’m dedicated to my music, lyrics, and the people willing to listen, I never go a day without trying to learn something new and hope I can continue on the paths less traveled”
